The Rev. Mganulwa Masima developed and taught a catechesis on Anglicanism to youth in the Diocese of Central Tanganyika. She reached over 600 youth in 33 parishes, and found an eagerness to learn about worship, tradition, scripture and sacraments. Many youth in the diocese leave the Anglican church for pentecostal churches, but the Rev. Masima believes that proper Christian education in the Anglican faith will inspire them to stay. She dreams of becoming a youth training supervisor in the diocese, and of starting a diocesan youth club. She believes that the youth have good and important gifts to share with the church, and that the church can learn how to welcome and use these gifts.
