Troy has served as a leader in the Episcopal Church, from being the dean of Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix for over 10 years, to serving on the boards of Virginia Theological Seminary and the General Theological Seminary. Troy approaches ministry with tremendous joy and is passionate about seeing the Episcopal Church offer all people a sense of belonging, dignity, community and the grace of new life given to us in Jesus Christ. He is thrilled to begin his service in this capacity for EES.

Canon Sandy Milien

Sandy Milien is the Canon for Racial Reconciliation and Community Engagement and Officer for Ecumenical and Interfaith Engagement in the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem. She believes that evangelism is at the core of who we are as followers of Jesus; she is enthusiastic about helping others who are creatively and faithfully making it part of their ministry. She is a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

The Rev. Cn. Ranjit K. Mathews
Meriden, CT
Ranjit K. Mathews is the Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. He serves as the TEC clergy representative to the Anglican Consultative Council. His understanding and passion for evangelism is inspired by South Indian theologian, Dr. D. T. Niles, who said, “evangelism is just one beggar telling another beggar where he found bread.” His post-colonial perspective is essential to the practice of Episcopal Evangelism today; he brings great gifts to the EES Board.

Perry serves as Rector of All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Day School. Before becoming a priest, he was a professor of Communication and brings his passion for mentoring graduate students to his work on the board. Perry’s commitment to evangelism is rooted in finding new ways to communicate the story of God’s love for all people.

Heather is Vice President for Finance and Administration at Austin Theological Seminary. Her financial acumen is of critical importance in directing the EES budgeting and portfolio management processes. She is a member of All Saints in Austin.

The Rev. Tim Baer
Yukon, OK
Fr. Tim is the founding Vicar or Grace Church in Yukon, OK. Grace Church was planted in 2014 by the Diocese of Oklahoma and has grown from 12 to over 250 on a Sunday. Fr. Tim is passionate about helping people find a place of belonging where they can connect to God and a community in authentic and transformative ways. He is especially passionate about introducing the Episcopal Church to people who are de-churched or unchurched.

Jaime Briceño is Director of Admissions and Recruitment at Bexley Seabury, Priest-in-Charge at St. Michael and All Angels in Berwyn, IL. His experience with seminarians is most helpful in reviewing grant application.
The Rev. Canon David Ulloa Chavez
Phoenix, AZ
The Rev. Canon David Ulloa Chavez has been named The Episcopal Church’s partnership officer for Latin America and the Caribbean. He brings extensive bilingual and bicultural leadership experience, most recently serving as rector of All Saints of the Desert in Sun City, Arizona, and canon for border ministries in the Diocese of Arizona. Chavez holds master’s degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and has served on the General Convention’s Mexico Covenant Committee and the Office of Latino Ministries advisory council. In this role, he will support Spanish-speaking dioceses and strengthen relationships with Anglican partners across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Rev. Nancy Frausto
Austin, TX
The Rev. Nancy Aidé Frausto is the Director of Latinx Studies at the Seminary of the Southwest. Her passion and commitment to the Beloved community drive her work of helping form future priests to serve the diversity of God’s people. Her work as a consultant for the Presiding Bishop’s office on Evangelism, along with her passion for multicultural work, will serve the EES board well.
Dr. Sharon Heaney
Alexandria, VA
Sharon Heaney is Associate Professor of Theology and Latin American Studies at Virginia Theological Seminary. She has traveled widely and has been involved in research, teaching and service in Argentina, East Africa, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Spain and the United Kingdom. In her teaching, she is particularly interested in the histories and theologies of Latin America and how these intersect with social, political, and cultural realities in the United States, informing ministry priorities for the Episcopal Church. She pays close attention to learning from Latino/a/x theologies in the United States.
Estela Lopez
Houston, TX
Estela is the Missioner for Congregational Vitality-Connections from the Diocese of Texas. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. Estela has 17 years of experience in parish ministry in the Episcopal Church in Chicago and Houston. She has done extensive work reigniting and revitalizing communities through coaching, mentoring, and equipping lay leaders for ministry.
The Rev. Bradley Mattson
Lancaster, PA
The Rev. Bradley Mattson serves as a priest in the newly-reunited Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna. He is enthusiastic about evangelism, organizational development, and innovative stewardship practices. An avid gardener, he has helped lead grant-supported projects that bring church and community together in the care of creation throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed. He is also bivocational and leads a financial services organization focused on church finance. Among the projects closest to his heart is the creation of a handcrafted wooden manger featured in Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s annual Christmas message. He loves sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
The Rev. Dan Morrow
Munich, Germany
The Rev. Dan Morrow is Rector of Church of the Ascension Episcopal Church in Munich, Germany, a church with over 40 languages and over 30 countries represented. Dan is passionate about intercultural communication and culturally competent evangelism. He has served churches in France, Switzerland, Germany and the United States. He is a trainer in the College for Congregational Development, a Missional Leadership Fellow and is currently finishing his Doctor of Ministry in Intercultural Leadership Practices.
The Rev. Cn. Carla Robinson
Seattle, WA
The Rev. Carla Robinson is the Canon for Multicultural Ministries and Community Transformation in the Diocese of Olympia. She works closely with local grassroots networks and the bishop’s office in the work of racial justice in Western Washington and beyond. She brings her love of creative ministries and authentic partnerships to EES.
Dr. Marianne Ryan
Pasadena, CA
Marianne has been a teacher and school administrator for 31 years, 26 of those years in Episcopal Schools. She completed her D.Min in Educational Leadership from Virginia Theological Seminary and served on the Alumni Association Executive Committee. Her favorite hour of the week is serving as a Lay Eucharist Minister at her parish, All Saints Church in Pasadena, CA where she is a member of the Giving committee. She is looking forward to being part of EES for a new opportunity to serve the church.
