In a changing world, we serve as a catalyst and a resource
for innovative witness to Jesus Christ

service credits, teach job and life skills, and perform
renovations and repairs to St. Andrew’s.

Understanding our work

The Evangelical Education Society (EES), founded in 1862, strives to continue the tradition of its founders to communicate the faith by knowledge as well as zeal, and to inspire a passion for the Gospel and God’s people.

Through this site you can learn about our grants program, read brief reports on completed  grants, or review the list of grants awarded for 2007-2008.  You can also search our site for information on our completed grants, including a project pictured which evaluated the potential for developing a bluegrass music ministry in Athabascan Indian village in Alaska

Our Mission

Who We Serve

EES awards grants to Episcopalians in the eleven Episcopal seminary communities, and in seminaries accredited by the Association of Theological Schools.  Students, faculty, staff, and their spouses and partners, are eligible for EES support.
